Loblolly's

We really enjoyed Loblolly's. The house was very clean, well stocked, and a great location. Really enjoyed the view of the golf course in the backyard. We will definitely be back again.

This is the 3rd year in a row we've stayed here in June and it feels like home. Great location, quiet, great neighbors. It's an older home but it's very well equipped with everything you need. We'll definitely be back again!

Location very nice. Great time in the area. Allowed pets which was a plus (carpets w/very few old pet stains had been cleaned - our pet did not even sniff them!). Would have liked cleaner kitchen on arrival but were pleased to have good utensils, dinnerware and glassware -everything we needed. Liked both breakfast & dining room options, and TVs all over to watch the golf! Would recommend & would come back.

Our original rental was cancelled by owner at last minute so booked this less than 12 hours before our arrival. We were pleasantly surprised with the house, location and rental company.

We would absolutely stay at this property again! The location is phenomenal on the 11th Fairway (not 13th like it says on the VRBO FYI!). It is very dated decor but we knew that and otherwise it was lovely!

We really enjoyed our 2 week rental of the Fairway House in April. It was beautiful spring weather - warm temps, sunny skies and the azaleas in the area were in full bloom. We played golf at 9 different local courses (Legacy and Longleaf were favorites). There is also a nice public practice facility at Knollwood Fairways on Midland Road. The layout of the house was perfect for our group, with multiple "living" spaces so we could be together or on our own. We especially enjoyed spending time on the porch, watching golfers roll by, having breakfast in the morning and cocktails at night. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed (a toaster with 4 slots rather than just 2 would have been helpful at a house of this size, just a suggestion!) We appreciated the dishwasher and washer/dryer. The grill on the back patio was a great amenity, and the fact that they stock an extra propane canister on site was a great detail (we did not need it, but it was nice to know it was there!) We enjoyed TV in the living room - you watch through the Spectrum App, which took a bit of time to figure out when we first arrived. The internet was strong, and the rental folks supplied the log-in information upon arrival. The neighborhood was quiet and great for dog walking! We appreciated the excellent "welcome" notebook the owners put together, and the number-pad front door lock kept us from having to keep track of or share keys. The beds were all very comfortable. It was nice to have the desk in one of the bedrooms so work did not have to be done in the living areas. We felt very much at home and hope to return again. Thank you for your hospitality!

We stayed for 5 nights, 3 adults. The home is clean, though the furniture and furnishings are quite dated. The neighborhood is quiet, very good for walking a dog. The kitchen has many utensils and dishes. However, the stovetop is not working and needs repair. Only 1 burner heats at a time.
We enjoyed our stay.

Very clean. Well equipped. Tons of space. Really really comfortable beds. Loved being on the golf course as my 5 year old had plenty of space to run. Would definitely recommend. We stayed here after Christmas and through New Year’s. Loved the neighborhood to be able to walk. Location was close to everything. Would stay here again.

The location was great and the home was as described. When our first guest used the guest shower, the handle came off in her hands and would not go back on. We contacted the management company and they told us they couldn't get a plumber out for 5 days and offered no solution to the problem. We borrowed pliers from our Pinehurst friends and were able to turn the water on manually and push it off. It remained that way for all 21 days of our rental. Thankfully we only had 5 people who were inconvenienced by this instead of the 10 advertised the home could accommodate. If we had not figured out a way to get the shower on, we would have been forced to use the other shower. AGain, the management company did nothing. I've asked for a reduction in the daily rate charged but up to this date, I have not received a reply or refund. In addition, the living room and enclosed porch furniture is extremely uncomfortable and was the last thing you wanted to sit on after a day of golf.
I would not recommend renting this property due to the furniture condition and the lack of attention and willingness to do the right thing from the management company.

Perfect place to relax! Very comfortable beds, clean, just perfect!!!

First of all, the folks at Sandhill are a delight to work with; accessible, responsive, nice. I had a question and they were on the spot.

The home was impeccably clean and wonderfully situated on a golf course with big windows to let in the light. The kitchen was well stocked.

The air handler is a tad noisy but they are looking into that so likely settled by now.

The home was very comfortable and convenient to all. Wifi lightening fast.

The property is homey and comfortable but could use a little tender loving care. Furniture is older but higher quality. Kitchen is very well equipped with what appears to be new silverware and dishes. Golf theme throughout the property and view out the two (non opening) rear patio doors of Pinehurst No. 3 very nice. BE AWARE: bathroom countertops are very low, like kids height but worked for us, however if you are over 6' it may be like giraffe drinking at the waterhole. Initially had problem with Wi-Fi but online maintenance request got me in touch with Matt at Sandhills Rental who was very helpful in resolving the issue. Florida room in back is nice screened in porch but brick patio needs power wash and some leveling. We didn't use outdoor grill but top cover seemed broken and BBQ counter had tiles broken. Master bath includes smallish tiled shower which needs cleaning and shower door is a little banged up. Overall was nice and would rent again.

The overall experience in pinehurst was great and we had a very good stay. The previous group had left the propane on for the grill and had broken a coffee pot, but they did replace it.

The house itself is great. The furnishings are old but in remarkably good condition which makes the whole effect charming and a little retro. The house clearly serves as a home, not just a rental, as the kitchen was very well equipped and there were nice personal touches everywhere.

The location is wonderful with golf course view on Pinehurst #3. Tip - if you want to golf, make sure you make your reservations 5 days in advance! It is a short view to central Pinehurst, as well as Southern Pines and other surrounding areas. Several grocery stores and most other chain stores, within a few minutes drive. The neighborhood is very quiet and feels very safe.

Now to the bad..... A few days into our stay, one side of the oven handle popped off. Just old, nothing drastic. I contacted the management company through the specified app to notify them. A full 24 hours passed, by which the other side of the oven handle had popped off and the front of the oven was now out into the kitchen space. Apparently an oven door has a thick component that keeps the heat out, then a decorative metal component that is held on by the plastic handle. The metal outer portion was the part that had now fallen into the kitchen space since there was nothing holding it on. The handle screws were stripped and there was no way to put it back on. Anyway, the management company representative finally responded and I explained the situation. The oven door was now presenting a hazard in the kitchen. I texted pictures and he promised to get someone over there to fix it. Two days later, he eventually texted me and said he hadn't been able to find anyone. Three more days later (with he door still sticking straight out into the kitchen) and we were checking out without ever getting the issue resolved. We were fortunate that nobody cut their legs or otherwise was hurt by this. I have never experienced such a neglectful management company and won't recommend this home as

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Plenty of space and a wonderful layout. And very close to stores, the resort and all golf courses. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio in the evenings. It was fun watching the golfers go by as well! The management company was very easy to work with and very responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay again.

The home was very clean and well stocked with the basics what we needed for our stay. Any issues we had were quickly rectified by the rental company.

The location was perfect! Close to downtown Pinehurst and in a quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great space for a family gathering

I have to leave a quick note . Very nice rental, golfers dream home! It is perfect for the weekend "mancation" for a golf excursion. Home has a nice touches of golf decor. Sandhills rentals is very efficient in assisting when you have questions or concerns. Thanks to Todd again for in this booking. :)

The house is on a golf course in a good location, a short drive to Pinehurst Village, Southern Pines, and Aberdeen. Numerous restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping are also a short drive. The neighborhood is quiet. The house is very comfortable and well furnished. The backyard patio is great and there also is a closed in porch off the kitchen We were a group of 6 who ate out only a few times in the week we were there. The kitchen layout is very functional. A new set of dishes, glasses and basic cookware would make it perfect. We enjoyed our stay there and were very pleased with the home. Would definitely stay here again when we return to the area. I would add that we were evacuating from Hurricane Irma and the manager's assistance made our unscheduled, last minute reservation much less stressful. She was very helpful !
